My best friend and I customize lots of different kinds of dolls, for fun I picked up a 23cm Obitsu who was in bad shape. From that we decided to give her some scars and make her a little werewolf. To do her werewolves ears, we cut off the ears of a LPS dog... ^___^;; But because of this, we decided to grab another of the dogs and customize it to be the doll's "werewolf form" ... I think we were just bored. In any case, we finished up that project tonight, and I thought I'd share some pictures. Doll & Matching Dog And just the dog... As you can see we accidentally got a finger print in the eye... But we're sort of too lazy to fix that. (It's way less noticable in person, my macro lens is just special.) The custom LPS dog compared next to the original And then just for fun - what #1892 looks like without paint: I was really really impressed with how much detailed molding goes into LPS. I look forward to customizing more of these guys in the future!

Oh wow, they're both amazing!! <3 Thank you! Thank you! I was worried people wouldn't find them "cute" because of the scars, even if I thought they were cute ^___^;; Awesome customs, really!!!! How did you get the chihuahua so nekkid (paint-free that is )?! Thank you! We used the same stuff we use to clear most dolls of their paint, which is acrylic brush cleaner. Our preferred brand is Winsor & Newton as it seems to be the easiest to find that isn't very harsh at all (just gotta make sure to rinse really well after). Fantastic Job! The ears on the doll are perfect! The scars are a great touch - as are the two differnent colored eyes...Love it! Krissy Thank you! The ears on the doll was a little bit of a risk, but we weren't really sure how to portray "werewolf" in a cute way, and it was totally worth it. The scars are made of elmers glue and chalk pastel. And the eyes... just werewolf cliche I guess. But I love it all~ A beautiful work! It's awesome! Thank you! It's not our first time doing the dolls, but this is our first LPS custom. I'm relieved it worked out ^___^;;

Thank you very much. Monster High dolls are actually one of the kinds of dolls we're on a really big kick about customizing right now! (I think that may be what Jen is referencing, even, since there's a green skintone.) If you're curious, you can see some of my custom MH here www.flickr.com/photos/skada/collections/72157622347263460/ (these are my personal ones) and more in here www.flickr.com/photos/skada/collections/72157622460351180/ (these are ones that either belong to my best friend, or we did for other people). And I will be sure to post others, if I do them... I just didn't think about doing more until people said something! xD It is a very good job. You have an excellent imagination. Thank you very much! Imagination is an awesome thing to have

That's a very interesting idea! I like how you put ears from another LPS pet on the doll.
