I dislike spammers as much as you do Please DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT reply to their posts/threads, but instead report them by clicking on Report Post from the pull-down menu located in the right upper corner of each post. When you reply to their carp (please feel free to switch letters "a" and "r"), they get what they wanted in the 1st place - attention! Please don't indulge them!!I check the forum at least once per day so nothing gets past me!!Any spammer will meet their doom and my BIG BANNER HAMMER

Hello to all,
You probably have noticed by now a few changes around the forum.
Some are minor such as: - Pink forum's theme (do you like it? if not, please see a separate thread with directions on how to change it), - Holiday themed falling objects on the main page (do you like them?, want to see them on every page?, more or less of them?).
But the major change is in the way that we will combat spam and unwelcomed posts from now on. I've tried various techniques, including substituting whatever they are trying to sell with a word "spam". It's fun and funny to see how their final post looks but then I still have to go in and delete it and ban them and delete their accounts and so on.
So, from now on all of the new registrations will have to be approved by me. I check this forum daily, so don't worry you'll be approved (or not ) in a timely manner. I check all IP addresses against known spammers' IP addresses. You will be banned immediately if I find any compromising evidence. Also, all new members and guests' posts will be subject to my approval prior to final posting on the forum. This way no spam or less than kind comments will ever reach its final destination.
I was thinking of having forum only be seen to those that are registered as we have daily up to 1000 quests at times and only a handful are ever signed on and even less than that ever post, which is a true shame.
Please let me know what you think

Just wanted to let everyone know that I "spring cleaned" our forum and deleted all inactive members who haven't signed on to the forum for over a year (except the members that have over 100 post count).
Although I'd like everyone to participate on our forum: introduce themselves, say hello/comment from time to time and share their finds, I do understand that some members prefer to "lurk" and read rather than participate. But as long as they're active by signing on occasionally, I will know not to delete their accounts.
Thanks for your understanding

Another quick announcement!
Besides combating spammers and annoying posts (and it works!!!!), I've implemented several very helpful (I think? ) changes around the forum:
~Spell Check option >>> please feel free to use it before hitting Post Quick Reply or Reply button (I felt it was needed after reading several recent posts)
~Back To The Top Arrow >>> appears on the right as you scroll down through posts/threads and takes you back up in one swift move (love this one)
~Quick Reply (at the bottom of each thread's page) >>> now has all the amenities as the Create Post option
~Message Alert >>> a notification pops-up and lets you know that you have a new PM waiting for you (never miss another message!)
I think this is nice, do you?
