Title says it all! I wanna make a custom, but I'm having problems. The first problem - There's marker all over it - I don't know what kind of marker, because I had drawn on it a few years ago and I forgot. Do you think I can just paint over the marker? The second problem - I don't have much paint. Do any of you have any ideas about anything? Like how to make paint suitable for making a custom LPS, or something?
Sorry if I broke any forum rules, I'm still a little new here and the rules seem a little...complicated, in my opinion.
Thanks!

Well I've never had a problem painting over marker so far but I guess it all depends on the marker and what paint you're using. Though from what I've seen marker doesn't really rub off pets so you should be fine. Sadly I'm not much help when it comes to what paints to use...

I've only ever painted one LPS pet (it's in my signature), so I'm not much of an expert. However, I used acrylic paints (Folk Art...) and they worked perfectly. I didn't use anything for the base coat and, if I'm not mistaken, used a gloss coat once I was finished with the paints (it has been several years since then so my memory isn't 100% on this). A good painting brush (better yet several of different sizes for different jobs) and some acrylic paint should be good to go. Hope we see your finished product here
