So I got this little kitten recently and was just wondering if anyone knows a good way to straighten the head? It bobbles and turns fine it's just stuck on a lean. (Doesn't look as bad on camera) I've tried pushing it over but I'm worried the neck part might break. Thank you. (Sorry if this has already been discussed in a thread)

I'm not sure I understand but maybe try turning the head several times?

I see crooked and leaning heads really often on a lot of pets. It probably means that her head was pulled or pushed improperly at some point and her spring and/or peg is now broken in some way. I've never actually seen one that was capable of being fixed, but I can't say I've really tried. The only thing I could imagine potentially working for some would be taking the head off and putting it back on but I really wouldn't recommend trying it as it probably would have a 50% chance of just breaking more (and also a risk of never actually getting the head back on).

It would annoy me also. That and a smudged paint on the eyes - can't stand it! If this pet isn't too rare, maybe buying another one will be the best solution if nothing else works But for now, here is a tip on how to remove LPS heads, borrowed from Mrs.E's thread, here on the forum: How do you swap heads? Very carefully. It's tough at first, but with practice, everything gets easier. I use a blow dryer to heat up the neck first. Then I pull at an angle. It usually pops right out. To attach a head, I re heat the neck, and push in the plastic piece. I use a customized tool to push the neck piece all the way in. Tool - using pliers, I bent the end of a metal crotchet needle. (It eventually broke, but worked for about a year.) I made a VERY amateur video on youtube of a head swap: www.youtube.com/watch?v=vyY9FF4l81Q

Now that I'm facing a similar problem with the mystery kitty I posted on Instagram, I suddenly remembered this post from Maddie and the information. And the fact that I found some information and posted it above And thanks to mrs"e" for awesome instructions. I'm pretty sure she is a pioneer and a great expert on the subject. Maddie, were you able to fix it?

Sadly no, I tried for a while but didn't want to risk braking it, a sweet girl was super eager to trade for it though even with the head like it was. So it all kind of worked out in the end? I do have a another (non crooked) version of it now so it's no worry Were you able to solve your cats problem though Huntress?

Nope, not really. I almost melted the peg altogether. Stopped before it was too late and will just have a crooked kitty.
I'm glad it worked out for you ☺️
